Good Day Chorale Members,

Thanks to everyone who participated in yesterday's concert at Monte
Vista.  I sure appreciate your support and willingness to sacrifice your
time and energy.  In spite of the "concert-time confusion", we ended up
with 60 in the audience, and they seemed to enjoy the music.
Apparently, there were concert advertisements that indicated that the
concert was to be at 3:00, some said 3:30, and some said 4:00. 

Although we've been trying to 'spread out' the concerts and avoid
consecutive Sunday concerts, occasionally it's unavoidable, and we do
have another concert this coming Sunday at a Care Center in Chandler.
The concert is at 3:30 and is located at Merrill Gardens  750 S.
Pennington Dr.   If you sang yesterday and your schedule is too full to
be able to sing this coming week, I understand. 

I appreciate your families' support and 'allowing' you to be out many
Sunday afternoons/evenings...and I don't want to abuse that.  The last
thing I want is tension at home caused by your participation in the
chorale.


Update on "Concert Chore Helpers"--- Several singers have volunteered to
help with various tasks....

1) Handing out seating charts - Brian Johnson and Vivian Locke (and
Kathy C.)
2) Handing out concert programs - Bev Johnson
3) Preparing sets of music for those missing pre-concert rehearsals -
Trishia Sander
4) Taking sets of music to the concert for corresponding singers - Doc
Brown

Still need help with:

5) CD Display/sales
6) Riser setup/tear-down/hauling ..etc

PS: Just a reminder: Please continue to keep me informed (via email
preferably) about schedule conflicts, etc. Also please let me know when
you have to miss rehearsals, but need sets of music.  I'm never quite
sure who might need music at any given concert.
