 Good day Chorale,

1) Hope your new year is going well. I appreciate your on-going support
of, and participation in the chorale. I was sorry not to be able to
attend rehearsal this past Tuesday. I had a work trip to Washington DC
with meetings all day Monday, and most of Tuesday. Initially, I thought
I could get home in time for practice, but it didn't work out that way.
Thanks for your support of Merritt. I heard the rehearsal went
well...even if the tempos were not what you may be used to....however,
it does tend to force you to watch the director! J

2) Prayer requests: Last week, Deborah Roberts and her family were
driving up near the Mogollon rim, and were involved in an accident with
another driver...both were brand new 2007 vehicles...both
totaled...Deborah's family ended up in the hospital...everyone was
ok...bruised ribs...injured dog....etc. They are recovering at home
now. Deborah still cannot take a deep breath...can't sing for several
more weeks. She misses being with us.

3) Next concerts: Sunday Feb, 11th at Discovery Point Retirement
Apt's. 2:00; Fellowship Sq. Main St. 3:30, both of which are in East
Mesa. I'll have maps/concert info next Tuesday.

4) Concordia Collge choir will be in concert Saturday, Feb
24th...details given below. This is a great choir (some of their alumni
are in the Chorale), directed by Rene Claussen, a very famous
conductor/arranger. It cost $15, ($10 for groups of 10 or more) but
would be well worth it. I think you all would enjoy this opportunity.
The details are given below.

If you would be willing to be the contact person, collect $ and contact
the Church listed below, let me know and I'll let everyone know.
Otherwise, you can pay $15 and ..."go it alone." You may not want to
wait too long....it's a popular choir.

Thanks for your friendship and support of the Chorale. You will
probably never know how much you impact others....until heaven.

--Bruce

somebody's hand and squeeze it, while there's time."....Dale Dauten
