[EastValleyChoraleMaillist] Dr. Bonner and the CBU Choir and Orchestra

Hello Chorale,

 

I wanted to encourage you to make every effort to see the Cal. Baptist
University choir and orchestra while they're in town this weekend. About 6-7
of our singers from the chorale (plus their families) attended last night at
Scottsdale Bible. It was an excellent concert..as always. Everyone from the
chorale enjoyed the concert immensely.in fact some from the chorale asked me
to encourage more of you to attend some of the other concerts.

 

As a special treat, Dr Bonner asked me to come up and direct "Jesus Paid it
All" with their choir (90 singers) and orchestra (25 players).that was
really enjoyable.and a good bit scary! (Brian Johnson, you would have really
loved their production of that song)

 

Their choir energy and 'style' is what we're trying to attain with the East
Valley Chorale, and it sure helps if you can experience it first hand.  They
do a variety of styles and sing several songs around the audience.

you Sun Lakes residents (you're already half-way there :-) )

Foothills Baptist Church   (in the Ahwatukee area, several miles west of
I-10 on E Chandler Blvd, go north on 21st st .the church is only.11 miles
west of Crossroads Nazarene.)

It will be worth the effort to go see them.
