Good Day Chorale Singers, Future-singers, Former-singers, and other Friends,


 

Thanks to everyone who participated in the concert at the Beatitudes this
past Saturday night. (We had 31 singers.)  The folks who attended the
concert were very appreciative for the time and effort that was required to
present the concert.  In spite of somewhat 'dead' acoustics, the overall
sound was balanced.if a bit weak. Your singing means much to the folks who
live there.  And your smiles are an uplift too! 

Upcoming items: 

1) Our next concert will be 6:00 PM Sunday October 21 at Dolce Vita in
Apache Junction. I'm hoping that we have a good turnout for our singers.  We
will have oboe, flute, and violins for the concert so it should be a nice
sound.  We will rehearse with the orchestra members during the rehearsal
next Tuesday, October 16.

 

2) Reminders: PLEASE: No perfumes/after-shaves for concert.or rehearsals.
Several of our singers have allergies to some perfumes, etc.

3) We've recently had two basses and one tenor (all three strong singers)
drop out of the chorale.  If you know of any good singers who are
enthusiastic, good readers, and have the time/energy to join us, please send
them our way.  This happens to be $5.99/PIE month at Marie Callendars, so
recruit a (male) singer and get a pie as a reward!
