Hello chorale,
Thanks to everyone who participated in our concert Sunday at the
Chandler Methodist church. The concert went well with 102 in
attendance, and the offering (to be split between the chorale and the
Church Building Fund) was $396. I heard many positive comments and
overall, things went well. It was a bit scary when we only had 2 tenors
with voices (and 2 others with partial voices), but the total sound was
good. (We could use a couple of additional tenors if you know any. I
would prefer that we add male tenors if possible.)
Several folks commented on your smiles and enthusiasm. You're making a
difference.
Please remember to return your music tonight.
Several Prayer Requests:
1) Forrest Jacobs, one of our tenors, is recovering from a rather
intense operation on his face. He still has some more surgery to come,
and he could use our prayers and he heals, etc.
2) Lois Clough (another tenor) has been having some health challenges
and would appreciate our prayers too.
