Chorale Friends,

Our friend, Forrest Jacobs, went home to be with the Lord this morning.
I don't have many details except that it was unexpected and quick.
Forrest and his wife Florence came to our very first Chorale rehearsal,
nine years ago, and have been faithful members ever since.  Forrest has
had some serious health issues including cancer, but has continued to
sing with us throughout his treatments, surgeries, health challenges,
etc.  

His gentle spirit and enthusiastic, trusting attitude will be missed.
His faith in the Lord in the midst of his difficult times has been an
inspiration and encouragement to many.

Please pray for Florence during this time of grief and adjustment.

We will have a time of prayer for the family tonight at our rehearsal,
and will discuss some ways we can be a support to Florence in the days
to come. 

I'll keep you posted regarding services, etc as the
dates/times/locations are available.
