[EastValleyChoraleMaillist] request for help supporting Florence Jacobs' family

Chorale Friends,

 

Crossroads Church has asked if the East Valley Chorale could help supply
meals for the Jacobs' family for Thursday night and Saturday night.  I know
it's short notice.I just found out late this afternoon, so your help will be
greatly appreciated. If you live in or near Sun Lakes and could help out on
Thursday (tomorrow), it would be greatly appreciated. That way, folks from
further away could handle Saturday.

 

Yvonne Olson has agreed to be the coordinator for this effort, so if you
could call her at 480-926-0320, she will organize this task.  

PLEASE DON'T CALL YVONNE UNTIL AFTER 7:30 TONIGHT. She's in the process of
coming up with a list of items needed, etc.  The Jacobs' family will have 16
folks from out of town that we will be helping, so it will take quite a few
helpers to supply everything that's needed.

Yvonne said you can call her as late as 10:30 PM.

MEMORIAL CELEBRATION for FORREST JACOBS will be held Sunday, March 16th, 2
pm in the Worship Center at Crossroads Nazarene Church, 2950 W Ray Road.  A
reception will follow in the gym for family and friends.  Florence has asked
that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Forrest Jacobs name to
either the American Cancer Society or Meals on Wheels in Chandler.  Meals on
Wheels' address is P. O. Box 876, Chandler, AZ. 85224.  There will be no
interment.  Those attending the memorial, are asked to bring desserts and/or
finger foods for the reception that follows the service.
