at the Choral Conducting Seminar this coming week, Oct 5-9, studying with Dr.

<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Baptist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>.
This will be about the 22<sup>nd</sup> week I’ve spent at one of the
seminars during the past 20+ years. It’s a very helpful, but
intense time of learning better conducting techniques, learning new music,
being critiqued by fellow-conductors, and having an opportunity to conduct the
CBU choir and orchestra, the Bonner Singers (about 70 singers), the Men’s
chorus, and the Women’s choirs. I always gain much from the
experience…even though it’s sometimes rather grueling…from
9:00 AM to 9:00 PM every day. I would appreciate your prayers for
stamina, skill, and ability to implement what I learn.<br>
I have asked Randy Walker to run the first half of rehearsal this Tuesday, and
Carl Cross will lead the second half. Please support them as they work on songs
that we’ve planned and discussed. If there happens to be any new
members, please make them welcome. I appreciate your cooperation and
